The Handmade Festival began six years ago as The Handmade Fair. As the enthusiasm and passion from our visitors, makers and experts has grown, so have we.

In 2019 we relaunched as the Handmade Festival and brought together an inspiring collection of creative people, skilled makers and a celebration of handmade. Whether you want to learn a new skill in one of our workshops or have a great day out shopping from over 200 designer makers the Festival is a fantastic event for all.

We champion handmade and hand-pick the individuals who come to showcase their incredible products. What's more, we encourage everyone to get hands-on and learn new skills across our creative pillars.
